Our mission
Finding reliable information about a temple — when it opens, when the aarti is, how to reach it, how to offer seva or a donation — is harder than it should be. Details are scattered across dozens of outdated pages. MandirFinder brings it all into one clean, fast, ad-light place that respects the devotee's time and the temple's dignity.
What we offer
Detailed temple pages with a written history, timings and aarti schedules, deities, facilities, phone and address; a multi-year Hindu festival calendar; long-form guides to festivals, pilgrimages and poojas; a daily Panchang; interactive maps and directions; devotee reviews; and online seva & donation — available in seven Indian languages. Browsing and all core information is completely free for devotees.
How our information stays accurate
Temple data is gathered continuously from open, public sources — including OpenStreetMap, Wikidata, Wikipedia, and each temple's own official website — then reviewed and approved by our team before it goes live. Every fact records where it came from and a confidence score, and listings are re-checked over time so timings and details stay current. Temple trusts can claim and manage their own listing.
Respecting content & copyright
We summarise and rewrite information in our own words rather than copying source text, and images carry their source and licence with attribution. If you represent a temple and would like a photo, detail, or your listing updated or removed, simply contact us and we'll act promptly.
How MandirFinder stays free
Browsing, timings, the festival calendar and the daily widgets are, and will remain, free for devotees. We sustain the platform through optional seva booking and donation processing — with 100% of donations passed to the temple — and through advertising, which we keep minimal and never place over booking or donation actions. Listing a temple is free, and no temple can pay to rank higher.
For temple trusts
If you manage a temple, you can add or claim your mandir to keep its timings, seva and details accurate, reach devotees worldwide, and enable online darshan booking and donations. There is no cost to list.
