About Goan temple

Shri Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga holds significant spiritual importance as mentioned in ancient scriptures including the Skanda Purana, Shiva Purana, and Vayu Purana. Located uniquely on the northern shore of the Narmada River, it is believed that Lord Shiva rests here after traversing the three worlds daily. The temple is renowned for its special sleeping arrangements and rituals, including the distinctive Shayan Darshan (sleeping viewing) of Bhagwan Shiva. The temple offers various services including Abhishek Pujan, Partheshwar Pujas, Navgraha Shanti, Kalsarp Dosh Puja, and Maha Mrityunjaya rituals. Devotees can participate through both in-person visits and the innovative E-Aradhana service, which allows remote participation in pujas with live video connectivity and home delivery of prasad.
