About the temple

Kanak Bhawan is a palace-temple in Ayodhya's Ramkot area dedicated to Lord Rama and Goddess Sita, believed to have been gifted by Kaikeyi after their marriage. The sanctum houses beautifully adorned golden idols of the divine couple. The shrine draws devotees through the day for darshan and aarti, with the atmosphere reaching its peak during the evening rituals and on festival days when special pujas are performed.
