Mansa Devi Temple
About Mansa Devi Temple
The Mansa Devi Temple stands as one of the most sacred pilgrimage destinations in India, located on the Shivalik foothills in village Bilaspur, Panchkula district. The main temple structure was constructed by Maharaja Gopal Singh of Manimajra between 1811 and 1815. The shrine is recognized as a Siddh Peeth, a category of temples believed to grant the wishes of sincere devotees seeking blessings for wish fulfillment, protection, and spiritual peace. The temple complex is managed by the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board and includes multiple associated temples, with the Patiala temple located 200 meters away, constructed by Maharaja Karam Singh in 1840. The temple remains a significant center of Hindu worship and pilgrimage throughout the year, with particularly large gatherings during Navratri festivals.
