Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple is among the most revered Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. As one of the twelve Jyotirlingas—the holiest Shiva temples in Hinduism—it serves as the primary pilgrimage destination in Varanasi. The temple operates year-round without weekly closures, opening at 2:30 AM and closing at 11:00 PM daily. The sanctum houses a Shivalinga, representing the unity of the three cosmic states according to Hindu philosophy. The temple complex offers multiple darshan services including the Sugam Darshan queue-less system, live darshan broadcasts, and VR darshan experiences. Five daily aartis are performed, and the temple provides guest house accommodations, online donation facilities, and various ritual services for devotees.
